GERRY DULIGAL
SAXOPHONE
Yet another L&Mer (who's been at the store almost 20 years) is son of a local jazz legend Fred Duligal and is no hack on sax himself. When he's not playing in Monkey Business - he's playing accordion in a tribute to Django Reinhardt. No stranger to rock and roll - Gerry's been a fan of Chuck for years before he met me and if anyone's going to be the band "ballbuster" as far as getting every note exact as per the Chuck record - it's going to be him. Gerry's been with me from the band's first appearance at the Brunswick.
Gerry was practically weaned on jazz from birth through his father's influence. Bringing his own interest in everything from Bach to Bacharach and his fascination with European accordion styles, Gerry has found a good home with Club Django.
